Richmond McGee is director of enterprise sales for AMP Robotics. Before joining AMP, he founded an online commodities marketplace after being a crude oil trader. Through the startup, he developed relationships with AMP’s seed investors, and eventually Founder and CEO Matanya Horowitz. McGee received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin, where he walked on to the football team and became a four-year starter and letterwinner as a punter. He was part of the 2005 National Championship team. After college, he began his professional career in the NFL with the Philadelphia Eagles as a free agent in 2008 before signing with the Chicago Bears and later the Cleveland Browns.
